Vintage Magical Bookmark and Tassel DIY

  I just love snuggling up under a fluffy blanket and a good book. I often find myself to comfy and fall asleep while reading.  😊 Which leaves me needing something to save my place. So today lets make a cute bookmark! Items used: Imagination Scissors Alcohol markers  ink- Palette, hybrid acid free Sharpie marker Card stock Acrylic paint Cardstock Tissue paper Yarn or thread Glue Stick Rubber Stamps used- Marigold Flowers from the Day of the Dead sugar Skull set by Donna Gray Stitches FROND Witch by Stephanie Eaton Words from Stitches PYRO by Stephanie Eaton Keyboard Steampunk Rubber Stamp Distressed Chain Link Steampunk Background I'm still new to the great world of stamps, so I wanted to push myself and do a more of a layered background.   It's that time of year again. Where we are all looking for the perfect gift item. How about something handmade? Here is a mix medium ornament for you. Rubber stamps used : 1. By Stephaine Eaton  Kai Lana & Friends Mermaid Jellyfish Starfish set Additional items needed: Imagination A pair of good scissors Shirk   Film Ink - StazOn Color pencils- Faber-Castell Hot glue gun and sticks Mod Podge Dimensional Magic Blue yarn - 4 medium, Worsted weight White yarn - 4 medium, Worsted weight Crochet hook size I  Finished size  4" L x 3 1/2" w If your ornament is bigger then mine your tension is looser then mine just go down a hook size. Step 1:  Start by stamping your stamps on the shirk film the ink will need time to dry before coloring. Step 2:  Once the ink is dry color in the stamps with color  pencils .
